Die Bildcollage »I Am A Whale« ist ein
Portrait und Mahnmal zeitgenössischer Melancholie. 2017 hatten sich einzelne
Teenager in Chatforen für Suizidgefährdete einer Art Challenge anvertraut.
Zunächst wohl nur eine Legende, dann jedoch Realität, wurden sie im Zuge der
sogenannten »Blue Whale Challenge« von kriminellen Moderatoren an 50
aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen zu verschiedenen Handlungen angestiftet und
schließlich in den Suizid geleitet. Unter dem Hashtag #curatorfindme hatten
sich die KandidatInnen des tödlichen Spiels im Internet als InteressentInnen
geflaggt.

The collage "I Am A Whale" is a
portrait and memorial of contemporary melancholy. In 2017 some a number of
teenagers had entrusted themselves with a kind of challenge in chat forums for
suicide victimsrisk patients. Initially only a legend, but then reality, they
were on 50 consecutive days incited to various actions by criminal moderators
